For 24 days, on two different continents and time zones, marilia destot (in the USA) & angelle (in France) will capture at the same time an image they'll post on this blog, sharing and crossing their vision. Adding one hour every day to their photographying schedule, each of them will experiment the 24 hours of a day.
No theme but the time-obligation for this simultaneous and real-time based photographic correspondence, developped from 2009 july 1rst to july 24th.

Collaboration with TROIKA EDITIONS - contemporary photos (London) for saling online the photo-sequence "la Calligraphies des fourmis ", in 3 limited editions/3 dimensions/3 prices.

Following the award at la Bourse du Talent, the Group-Show at the BNF, and my personal show at Picto in Paris, my series "Ellipses" is published now in the french press, into a 12 pages dedicated portfolio in the photo magazine Declic Photo n°50 /june 2009.

Publication of the film review written by Deborah Garwood, in ArtCritical/June09 , celebrating the film "Ariane Lopez-Huici : The Body Close Up" i made and presented last May.

" Lopez-Huici belongs to a generation of artists who often placed the body at the center of experimental art forms combining dance, performance art, sculpture, video, and photography. If sexuality and non-conformity are abiding topics in Lopez-Huici’s oeuvre, Destot’s remarkable film asserts that the body’s jubilation, exuberance, and self-acceptance are themes that lie at its heart. It is truly a collaborative documentary."
